Computer Science Students Association Lacoste launch

COSA is an acronym that stands for Computer Science Students Association. The association had not been active for a while hence the leadership decided to rebrand its association by launching its range of Lacoste.

The event took place on the 13th August 2017 between 2pm-7pm at the forecourt of the main campus. The event attracted students from both COSA and BASA (Business Administration Students Association), with non-students participating as well.

The former H.O.D.  in the person of Mr. Elias Oquaye, as well as the current H.O.D Mr. Francis Amavi all, graced the occasion. The vice president[Academics] Dr. Benjamin Ghansah also graced the occasion with his presence and subsequently donated to support other activities lined up by the COSA executives.

There was a photoshoot session that saw almost all dignitaries and students take turns to take photos as many as possible. Intersperse with the photo shoot was music, drinks, and snacks.

The SRC president Mr. Akoto Andrews together with his able vice Miss Asantewaa took part in the program with the president giving a speech on behalf of the SRC.

Followed by the introduction of the executive in the below order.

President – Ashie Nii Nathaniel, Vice President – Mattew Ocloo, General Secretary – Thywill Lartey, Treasurer – Clement K. Biney, Programs Director – Albert Bortey and the Director of Communications – Francis Twum.

 The program was crowned with some dancing competition. The COSA president together with his executives thanked members for massively participating in the program and promised to organize more interesting programmes for computer science students.
