Prof. Richard Jinks Bani has nearly 35 years’ experience in teaching, research and applications in Post-Harvest Engineering that focuses on storage and processing of agricultural produce leading to the attainment of Food Security and industrial development, Income Generation and Small enterprise development and job creation.
He has held different positions in the University of Ghana, including Head of the Agricultural Engineering Department, Vice-Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences and Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences at the University of Ghana.
He has served on a number of Boards at the University such as the Academic Board, Board of College of Agriculture and Consumer sciences, and the Board of School of Engineering Sciences. He had served as Chairman of the National Postharvest Working group based at the Engineering Services Directorate of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
Mrs Ibok Oduro is a Professor of post-harvest technology at the Department of Food Science and Technology, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana.
Prof. Oduro is the Former First Female Provost of the College of Science, KNUST, and also the first female Provost in the University.
She has served as Dean for the Faculty of Bioscience (2015– 2016), Vice Dean for Faculty of Biosciences (2008-2010), the Head of Department for Food Science & Technology (2014-2016) and Biochemistry & Biotechnology (2007-2009, 2010-2014).
She also served as the Vice Dean for International Student Affairs (2002-2004) and Vice Dean of Students (2004-2006). She was the Hall Warden of Hall Seven now Chancellor’s Hall (GUSSS Hotel) March 2006 – September 2007. She serves on several educational and government institutions.
She is an Imminent Council Member of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ghana. Prof Oduro is a remarkable leader and scholar recognized both locally and internationally.
She is a member of the International Leadership Foundation (ILF), the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OSWD), the African Scientific Institute (ASI), and Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (WiSTEMGH). Prof. I. Oduro serves as an Editor of the Journal of Science and Technology, (JUST). She is also an External Assessor for several Universities/Institutions Nationally and Internationally.
Rev. Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee is the Founder and Executive Director of Salt & Light Ministries, a Christian para-church organisation that motivates and encourages Christians to be the best that God has created them to be.
A Management & Communication Consultant, she serves on the boards of diverse organisations including Newmont Ghana Gold Limited and Newmont Golden Ridge Limited, Chirano Gold Mines Limited, College of Education – University of Ghana, The Roman Ridge School, Data Bank Ark Fund, among and many others.
She is the former President of Bible Society Ghana and the Pro-Chancellor of Central University.
Prof. Edwin Clifford Mensah serves as the Interim Associate Dean and a Professor of Economics at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). He received his Masters and PhD in Economics from North Carolina State University.
He joined the School of Business of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2004 as a visiting Professor and later as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics in 2005. He is also a visiting Professor of Economics at Valley View University and Data Link Institute, Ghana-West/Africa and the author of the book: “Economics of Technology Adoption: A Simple Approach.”
Professor Stanley Moffatt, current president of Data Link Institute of Business and Technology, is a renowned Professor of Biomedical Science with expertise in Virology, Molecular Pathology, Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine. He obtained a combined MSc and PhD degrees from Tohoku University School of Medicine (Japan) where he later received a two-year fellowship in Virology and Pathology for the most outstanding research thesis.
He joined the Department of Virology and Comparative Pathobiology at Purdue University (USA) as a post-doctoral fellow in 1998, and as a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Molecular Immunology and Therapeutics at the University of Texas (USA) in 2001. He was appointed as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2004.
Professor Moffatt subsequently accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at NOVA Southeastern University (USA) in 2006 where he taught and researched on gene therapeutics, nanotechnology and nanomedicine. In Ghana, Prof. Moffatt started his working career as a Dean, rising through ranks such as Director of Quality Assurance, Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Regent University College of Science and Technology.
He has more than thirteen years of experience in the private university terrain in Ghana and has provided more than ten years of consultancy services to Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) in the areas of quality assurance and accreditation. He is an astute researcher who has accumulated several peer-reviewed publications, books, book chapters, and conference/technical papers to his credit.
He has travelled extensively to present papers at several international conferences. Prof. Moffatt is an academic scholar par excellence who for many years served on local and international organizations. He had served as the Chairman for USA, Europe, Caribbean Nanotechnology Initiative (USECANI) from 2010-2015.
