Prof. Richard Jinks Bani has nearly 35 years’ experience in teaching, research and applications in Post-Harvest Engineering that focuses on storage and processing of agricultural produce leading to the attainment of Food Security and industrial development, Income Generation and Small enterprise development and job creation. He has held different positions in the University of Ghana, including Head of the Agricultural Engineering Department, Vice-Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences and Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences at the University of Ghana. He has served on a number of Boards at the University such as the Academic Board, Board of College of Agriculture and Consumer sciences, and the Board of School of Engineering Sciences. He had served as Chairman of the National Postharvest Working group based at the Engineering Services Directorate of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
He has also served on the National Institutional Feeding program committee set up by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to prepare feeding program for schools. Prof. Bani has organized training in food security, job and income generation to staff of Ministry of Agriculture and the Non-Formal Education Unit of the Ministry of Education.
Prof. Bani in 2002 conducted an Agricultural training needs assessment for increasing Agricultural productivity and accelerated income growth in Ghana.
Prof. Bani was leader of the team that conducted an in-depth study into the technical viability of Government owned Storage facilities in Ghana in 2005.
Prof. Bani had served as Executive Director of the National Board for Small Scale industries (NBSSI) the Government apex body responsible for the promotion and development of small and medium scale industries in Ghana. Prof. Bani had also served as Executive Director of the National
Mrs Ibok Oduro is a Professor of post-harvest technology at the Department of Food Science and Technology, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. She had her BSc. (1985) and MSc. (1987) degrees in Chemistry at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. Upon graduating, she worked as a Research Assistant at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan in Nigeria from 1988 to 1991. She later obtained her Doctorate degree (Ph.D) in Postharvest Technology at Cranfield University, UK (1996).
Prof. Oduro is the Former First Female Provost of the College of Science, KNUST, and also the first female Provost in the University. She has served as Dean for the Faculty of Bioscience (2015– 2016), Vice Dean for Faculty of Biosciences (2008-2010), the Head of Department for Food Science & Technology (2014-2016) and Biochemistry & Biotechnology (2007-2009, 2010-2014). She also served as the Vice Dean for International Student Affairs (2002-2004) and Vice Dean of Students (2004-2006). She was the Hall Warden of Hall Seven now Chancellor’s Hall (GUSSS Hotel) March 2006 – September 2007. She serves on several educational and government institutions. She is an Imminent Council Member of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ghana. Prof Oduro is a remarkable leader and scholar recognized both locally and internationally. She is a member of the International Leadership Foundation (ILF), the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OSWD), the African Scientific Institute (ASI), and Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (WiSTEMGH). Prof. I. Oduro serves as an Editor of the Journal of Science and Technology, (JUST). She is also an External Assessor for several Universities/Institutions Nationally and Internationally.

Rev. Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee is the Founder and Executive Director of Salt & Light Ministries, a Christian para-church organisation that motivates and encourages Christians to be the best that God has created them to be.
A Management & Communication Consultant, she serves on the boards of diverse organisations including Newmont Ghana Gold Limited and Newmont Golden Ridge Limited, Chirano Gold Mines Limited, College of Education – University of Ghana, The Roman Ridge School, Data Bank Ark Fund, among and many others. She is the former President of Bible Society Ghana and the Pro-Chancellor of Central University.
In recognition of her immense contributions to the growth of the mining industry, the University of Mines & Technology (UMaT) conferred a Doctor of Letters degree (Honoris Causa) on Dr. Aryee in July 2009. She has also received many prestigious awards, including Ghana’s second-highest national award, the Companion of the Order of the Volta in 2006. Central University recently conferred a Doctor of Communication Arts degree (Honoris Causa) (May 2021) on Dr. Aryee. His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Life Patron of the Millennium Excellence Foundation, conferred upon Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee, the “Millennium Prize for Leadership and Contribution to National Development” in recognition of her meritorious work in the areas of Motivation and Outstanding Clergy Policies in Ghana (July 2021)
Rev. Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Mines where she served for ten years. She is also the first woman to head an African Chamber of Mines. Rev. Dr. Aryee has dedicated over forty years of service to the public and private sectors in Ghana.
She is the Executive Chairman of Harmonious Chorale and an avid promoter of Ghanaian sacred classical and choral compositions. She is a member of the Beach Chapter of Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International and a preacher and teacher of the word of God.
Prof. Edwin Clifford Mensah serves as the Interim Associate Dean and a Professor of Economics at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). He received his Masters and PhD in Economics from North Carolina State University. He joined the School of Business of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2004 as a visiting Professor and later as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics in 2005. He is also a visiting Professor of Economics at Valley View University and Data Link Institute, Ghana-West/Africa and the author of the book: “Economics of Technology Adoption: A Simple Approach.”
Prof. Mensah’s research interests include applied microeconomics, consumer economics, agricultural economics and technology adoption. As a researcher for the Institute for Money, Technology and Financial Inclusion (IMTFI), UC Irvine, Cliff’s research focuses on the economics of the use of mobile platforms for monetary transactions (e-money) as well as the economic impact of currency modification and money management among Ghana’s ultra-poor. He has authored and co-authored articles appearing in several proceedings and peer-reviewed journals including the; Journal of Economic Psychology, Journal of Consumer Policy, Journal of Business Strategies, International Journal of Business and Emerging Markets, Journal of Development and Agricultural Economics, Journal of Applied Business and Economics, Research in Business and Economics Journal, Journal of Information & Knowledge Management, International Journal of Management and Enterprise Development and the International Journal of Electronic Finance—to mention a few.
Prof. Mensah has received several awards and recognitions for his work—most notably, UNCP’s Peter B. Vail Award for excellence in scholarship and teaching (2010 & 2018 recipient). He also served as an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Sustainable Strategic Management, and a Chair of the Department of Economics, Finance and Decision Science

Dr Emmanuel Wekem Kotia is a Major General of the Ghana Armed Forces. He has served honourably with the military colours for over 35 years. He has distinguished himself as an international analyst and expert in Defence and Security over the years. He is an astute lecturer and speaker at various national and international forums on topics related to international/national security; international politics and defence studies. General Kotia is currently the Chief Executive of the Ghana Boundary Commission. His immediate past appointment was Commander of the Western Sector of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo from 2018 to 2019. His last appointment in Ghana before then was the Deputy Commandant of the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC), Accra, Ghana. By way of academic qualifications, he holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (First Class Honors) in Political Science and Sociology from the University of
General Kotia was commissioned into the Ghana Armed Forces in 1986 into the Artillery Corps of the Ghana Army. Within the Ghana military, he was the Commanding Officer of the 66 Artillery Regiment of the Ghana Army from 2005 to 2009. He also served as a Directing Staff/Lecturer at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College from 2009 to 2011. He was the Chief Instructor of the KAIPTC from 2011 to 2016. He served as one of the longest-serving instructors at the Ghana Military Academy from 1993 to 2000. He was awarded a Long Service and Good Conduct Medal by the Ghana Armed Forces in August 2001. He has served in several UN Peace Operations as a peacekeeper, including four tours with the UN Mission in Lebanon (1987,1991,2000/2001 and 2006/2007). He was the Commanding Officer of the Ghana Battalion with the UN Interim Force in Lebanon from 2006 to 2007. Other Peace Operations he has served are ECOMOG (Liberia, 1990), MINURSO (Western Sahara, 1994), UNTAC (Cambodia, 1992), UNAMIR (Rwanda, 1993), MONUC (DRC, 2002) and MONUSCO (DRC, 2018/2019).
General Kotia led the process of acquiring Institutional and Programme Accreditation for running academic courses at the Ghana Armed Force Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) and KAIPTC. He was subsequently the lead consultant that developed the KAIPTC Master of Arts degree courses in Conflict, Peace and Security; and Gender, Peace and Security; and the PhD course in International Conflict Management in 2011. He taught two courses in the KAIPTC academic programmes namely: Gender, War and Conflict in Africa and National Security Framework from 2012 to 2018. He also lectured and supervised dissertations for the PhD course at KAIPTC in International Conflict Management. He has supervised and examined over 30 dissertations for the various masters’ courses at KAIPTC. He led the development of the Master of Science course in Defence and International Politics for the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) in 2014. He teaches Theories and Analysis of Defence, and Peace Operations in Contemporary Perspectives at the GAFCSC Master of Science programme. He has supervised and examined over 60 MSc dissertations in Defence and International Politics at GAFCSC. He is currently an Adjunct lecturer for a Master’s course in Peace, Security and Intelligence Studies at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). He was appointed as the sole consultant to develop the PhD course in International Security and Intelligence for UPSA in 2020. General Kotia was a Consultant for the Constitution Review Commission of Ghana, and he also served as a member of the experts which drafted the National Peace Council Bill of Ghana (Act 818). He served as a consultant and the sole resource expert for the establishment of the Ghana Police Command and Staff College in 2014. He chaired a Technical Working Group for developing a National Security Strategy for Ghana (2018 to 2020); and the National Framework for the Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism and Terrorism in Ghana (2019). He served as a member of the Governing Board of the Ghana Police Command and Staff College; a member of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ghana from 2017 to 2019; and a member of the Board of Directors of the E-crime Bureau, Ghana from 2015 to 2019. General Kotia has served as a regular facilitator to the Parliament of Ghana for orientation workshops on National Security Perspectives for Members of Parliament between 2013 to 2021.

He was the main reviewer of the book on Indigenous African Warfare authored by Colonel Festus Aboagye (retired). He has authored a book titled: Ghana Armed Forces in Lebanon and Liberia Peace Operations. The book was published by Lexington Books, USA in May 2015. The book has been adopted as a textbook by the University of Bedfordshire, GAFCSC and UPSA for the running of the postgraduate courses. He is a visiting lecturer/facilitator to several institutions and universities within and outside Ghana including Ghana Police Command and Staff College; University of Professional Studies, Ghana; University of Bedfordshire, UK; Kennesaw State University, USA; and the United States Military Academy at West Point. His areas of research interest are Defence Studies; International/National Security; and International Politics.
Nana Dr. Michael Agyekum Addo, popularly known as “Kama” (Excellence) was born on 3rd January 1950 at Suhyen near Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
He is an accomplished Business Executive, Chief of Unity (Nkabomhene) in the New Juaben Traditional Area, Management Consultant, Inspirational Teacher, Motivational Speaker, Social Worker, an outstanding Elder of the Christian faith and a revolutionary campaigner on entrepreneurship. In the course of his talks and interactions with people, He has taught over 500,000 teachers from Senior High Schools, Technical Schools and the Universities since 2004 and held seminars for over 4,000,000 people (students and the public) in various schools, churches, institutions,
societies, banks, police service and the judiciary in both Ghana and abroad including Nigeria, UK, USA, Spain, Holland, Togo and South Africa.
As a lecturer in entrepreneurship at the Pentecost University, his teaching approach was linking practicals to theory. His teaching skills made such an impact on the students that this led to the students creating various businesses on campus to the admiration of the entire university community. He developed students with the entrepreneurial mindset to face the challenges in the 21st century. He served as a Council member for four (4) years and subsequently made the Council Chairman for the Pentecost University for eight (8) years (2004 – 2016)
EDUCATION
He obtained his basic education at Suhyen and attended Ghana Secondary School (GHANASS) in Koforidua for the ordinary & Advanced Level Certificates in 1969 and 1971 respectively. He was at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, to read Pharmacy and obtained the degree in 1977.
Further study at KNUST earned him a Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management and a Master’s degree with distinction in Entrepreneurship (MBA) with a record 19 straight A’s. He had his PhD degree with distinction from the University of Ghana Business School in 2021, with an honorary Doctor of Science Degree from KNUST in 2005. He is currently a committee member of the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET), formulating Competency Based Training (CBT) curriculum for schools under Ghana Education Service (GES).

Dr. Bernard Agyei Aryee is a Business Development and Management Consultant. He is very passionate about research and integrating Information systems in business operations.
He has successfully coordinated and executed USAID, Africa Lead funded projects that have enhanced livelihood for many entrepreneurs and households in Ghana. He is a Project Management Professional, has an MBA in General Management and a Master of Philosophy in Leadership. He also holds among others a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Theology.
He is the Chief Executive of Reseni Research. An organisation dedicated to advancing knowledge for the benefit of humanity. As a business executive, He has served as the lead technical person building the capacity of Entrepreneurs/Startups/SMEs in Business Development Skills, Leadership, Management and providing mentorship for the growth of these businesses.
He has authored five books and several articles in prestigious journals. Dr. Aryee is a reviewer for emerald publishing’s Leadership & Organization Development Journal. Dr. Aryee speaks on Leadership and Entrepreneurship and has won several awards through his leadership and research endeavours.
Dr. Edwin Tetteh Ayernor is a distinguished academician. He had his Senior High School education in Osu Salem Boy’ Boarding School and Ghanata Secondary School. He enrolled on a Bachelor of Arts degree (Industrial Arts) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 1997. He pursued a Master of Arts degree in Archives Administration at the University of Ghana in 2002. After completion of his Master of Arts degree, he enrolled on a Master of Philosophy in Information Studies in 2004 at the University of Ghana. Dr. Ayernor pursued a Doctorate in Information Science with the University of South Africa in 2014. He also has a Certificate in Instructional Design and Technology from the University System of Maryland at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
He is currently the acting Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Communications Studies and the Director of Documentation and Information Management Centre of the University of Professional Studies, Accra. He is also the Officer-in-Charge of the Instructional Design and E-learning Services of the University of Professional Studies. He is an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Information Studies at the University of Ghana.
Dr. Ayernor has rich teaching experience in Information Systems, Information Management, Software Development, Programming, System audits, Database Management, Research Methods, Digitization and Electronics Records, Digital Contents and Multimedia etc. He also has expertise in Curriculum Development and Instructional Design and Technologies.
Dr. Edwin Tetteh Ayernor is one of the first distinguished senior members of the University of Professional Studies to receive the Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Award for his unfailing love, commitment and professional excellence in the discharging of his duties.
Dr. Ayernor has gone above and beyond the requirement of his roles to significant and sustained achievements by demonstrating service excellence in enhancing the University’s experience for students, alumni, staff and visitors.
He loves swimming, playing and watching football and watching badminton.
Mr Joseph Asamoah Dankyi assumed office as the Registrar of Data Link Institute of
Business and Technology on 17 April 2023. He is a professional Bi-lingual Secretary,
Public Relations Officer and Academic Administrator with more than fifteen years of
experience.
Mr Dankyi was born on 21 September 1966. He did his secondary education at
Asamankese Secondary School between 1977 and 1982 for his GCE “O” Level. In 1992
he enrolled for French and English Languages proficiency at the School of Languages,
Ghana Institute of Languages. Between 1993 and 1996 he pursued a Diploma in
Bilingual Secretaryship (English and French) programme at the School of Bilingual
Secretaryship, Ghana Institute of Languages. In 2011 he had obtained a Bachelor of
Business Administration in Public Relations with Advertising from Jayee University
College in Accra. Upon completion he was admitted at the Methodist University Ghana
(Dansoman) to study for a Master of Business Administration with speciality in Human
Resource Management in 2014.
Positions he has held in Universities include Administrative Officer, Special Aide to the
President, Assistant Registrar, Acting Registrar (Jayee University College), and Registrar
(Shiv-India Institute of Management and Technology), and currently, Registrar of Data
Link Institute of Business and Technology). He has been a member of various boards and
committees bringing to bear his in-depth knowledge and appreciation of good corporate
governance. He is Secretary to the Council of the Institute and its Executive and Planning
Committees. He also serves as Secretary to the Academic Board and its committees.
His vision is to see Data Link Institute of Business and Technology become the finest
private higher education institution in Africa, an Institute driven by high technology and
supported by a professional and dedicated administrative cadre. He plans to help build a
time-conscious, innovative and entrepreneurial Registry which is positioned as a key
partner and strategic advisor in educational administration, planning and policy
