Northampton Business School offers postgraduate programmes which give you the knowledge and skills to stand out from the crowd in a challenging job market.

 We can help you to:

Advance: Research shows that the majority of postgraduates earn more than undergraduates over their careers. For example, our MBA PLUS is the professional standard for middle and senior management roles and combines excellent generalist management teaching with highly valuable additional recognition, qualification and activities. We offer a unique combination of opportunities which represent excellent value for money.

Specialise: you can build your CV and employability by specialising in a particular area.

  • MSc Management gives a comprehensive knowledge or the challenging and dynamic disciplines of international marketing including the area of Strategic Digital Marketing;
  • The MSc International Logistics, develops knowledge and understanding of the key concepts affecting Logistics and Supply Chain Management today. The programme is suitable for students intending to or currently specialising in International Logistics as a career, or for those in or entering general management. Today’s professionals require a deep and systematic understanding of the technology, staff, infrastructure and operational processes that define this important business sector.

Network: Postgraduate study gives you a clear insight into industry and allows you to build invaluable contacts - although this may not be your main reason, postgraduate degrees will uncover industry contacts and provide work experience opportunities. Our part time MBA is a good example of how our students can use professional networks at the university and through professional bodies such as the CMI to develop their careers.

All our programmes have been designed for business relevance: our masters degrees include a management research project or dissertation which gives you the opportunity to investigate a business issue in depth, either in your own organisation in an area where you would like to develop your knowledge or skills.

Applicants normally have to have a first or second class honours degree from a UK University or equivalent. Relevant personal, professional and educational experience is also taken into consideration and may be used as a substitute for qualifications. Each application is considered by the Programme Leader who will decide whether you would be able to fulfil the objectives of the programme and achieve the standards required.
