Data Link pays courtesy call on the Chinese Ambassador.

Management of Data Link Institute paid a courtesy call on the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Madam Sun Baohong at the Embassy in Accra.

The three-member management team was led by Mr. Ernest Ansah, Executive Chair of the Institute. In an interaction with the Ambassador, Mr. Ansah briefed the ambassador about the history of the institute, the significant role it has played as far as the delivery of quality tertiary education is concerned and programmes for the year including upcoming projects.

He affirmed that, Data Link institute is still committed to the course of education and therefore soliciting support from partners such as the Chinese Government through its mission in Ghana.
Also present were Mrs. Ingrid Ansah, Vice President, Institutional Advancement and Dr. Benjamin Ghansah, Vice President, Academic Affairs.

In her remarks, the Ambassador welcomed the team and recounted the efforts made by the Chinese government to support tertiary education in Ghana. She mentioned a unique scholarship scheme instituted at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi to offer deserving students the opportunity to study in China in language development and the provision of funding towards infrastructural development at the University for Health and Allied Sciences, Ho. H.E. Madam Sun Baohong also accepted an invitation to the upcoming 7th Graduation of the Institute as the Guest Speaker.

The meeting which was brief was is a point for familiarization for better collaboration between the Institute and the embassy.
